ReBalance is a holistic approach to modern living. Modern living has a proclivity to feel overwhelming with the sheer mass of things to worry about and even worse, all the misinformation. Lifestyle stress is at an all-time high and every day we are feeling more and more disintegrated, from nature, from each other and from ourselves.

We are not keeping it tidy.

Holism comes from the Greek word ‘holos’ which means whole, all, entire.

Understanding that the body is a complex system of systems, with every part in constant communication with every other part, is the holistic approach. Modern science has sectioned up the body into parts, something wrong with your thyroid you need an endocrinologist, something wrong with your liver you need a herpetologist, something wrong with your heart you need a cardiologist and the list goes on.

If you’ve ever had something wrong with you and as a result you have been passed from doctor to expert to specialist racking up absurd medical bills and have a pill for every letter in the alphabet, only to leave you feeling hopeless and lost.

This is because the medical industry trains people to specialise in specific fields, instead of treating the body as a whole. You can see the adverse of this in many alternative medicines. Reflexology for instance, where the feet are a blueprint for your overall health, each spot relating to a specific body part. Perhaps you’ve had a massage and while working on a painful spot in your back, you feel the pain shoot all the way to your pinky finger. Every part of the body is in constant communication with every other part.

Taking the holistic approach means coaching the person who has acquired the disease, not the disease that has the person. Bringing back balance and a state of homeostasis is the goal of holistic living. As we become more in-tune with our bodies we start to hear its subtle voice speaking to us.

The Holistic Approach For Everyone.

Understanding that each person is as unique on the inside as we are on the outside is the basis for our approach. With many people and companies touting ‘their way’ as the only way is the quickest way to falling victim to the health and fitness industry. It is an industry after all. Our bodies harbour innate knowledge far above our own as to its own needs and wants. This means each of us is our own best nutritionist, best fitness instructor, best coach. Modern life has become so chaotic we have forgotten how to listen to this ancient wisdom that lies within all of us.
